The biscuits camped in the hallway, outside the hex room with the invisible dude. (Details available on Wed's map.)

Rheaphlyndar Between two secret doors ought to be safe.
Wed Any preferences on what I work on first? Anyone?

No preferences were expressed, so Wed set to work identifying the magic items. The spell was not a long one, but would leave him drained for the next eight hours. Finally, the preparations were complete.

Wed First of all, this Lamia necklace does not even detect as magic, so I'm handing it over to Rheaphlyndar.
Rheaphlyndar This necklace has some nice rubies in a gold setting, I think it is worth at least 5000 gp.
Wed The ring is moderate protection, this short sword has a minor bonus, these bracers provide moderate protection, and so does this shield.

The mage then collapsed in a heap and was helped into bed. Watches were set without him, but nothing wandered through either secret door throughout the night.

Time Daybreak

Waking early, most of the party made ready at the door to the hex room, but found it unchanged. Rheaphlyndar volunteered to go examine the invisible coffin in detail, Jaron and Nicola went to guard him.

Gimar What's left to I.D. this morning?
Wed This bag, this cloak, and these potions.
Gimar You got four things last night, is that normal?
Wed It's basically a random chance, so I got fairly lucky. Well, here goes. This bag is similar to your bag of holding, only smaller. I can't get anything off of this cloak. This potion here is (laugh) invisibility, and I can't get anything off of the other potion.

With that Wed collapsed again. He would be able to walk after a few hours, but not fight or easily cast spells.

The other half of the group returned from the coffin room.

Nicola What a great idea Jaron had! We marked on the floor where the body was while Rheaphlyndar studied it, so we should be able to move it . . .
Jaron . . . or slice off its head. We marked the neck pretty well also.
Rheaphlyndar I've studied it thoroughly and I have to say that Nicola is probably right. The vampire image is the illusion, perfectly placed over where the real body is. He is wearing a white surcoat with a crest that I sketched here. He has a gold belt at his waist with a dagger. Around his neck is a gold chain with an emblem of a crown and crescent moon, and on his left hand there is a ring with a similar image. His shield is under his feet, but I didn't see any helm.
Jaron (looking at the sketch for the first time) The Knights of the Hart! That crest could be Veluna, and that one almost certainly Furyondy.
Gimar I presume we should return this body to that organization, right?
Jaron Certainly so. We must travel northwest, to the capital of Chendl if necessary.
